Controversial critic Verydarkman has sparked a heated debate with his latest video, where he questioned the authenticity of Destiny Etiko’s recent G-Wagon purchase. The Nollywood actress had announced the acquisition of the luxury vehicle on Valentine’s Day, with estimates suggesting a whopping price tag of ₦350 million.

However, Verydarkman is not convinced. In his video, he accused celebrities of inflating the prices of their purchases to create social media pressure. He suggested that to avoid doubt, celebrities should post evidence of the manufacturing date when announcing car purchases online.
Verydarkman went further, claiming that he knows of two Nollywood actresses who announced purchasing Range Rovers, only to repaint existing vehicles. “If you buy a car and want to show it off online, post the manufacturing date of the car,” he advised.
His comments have sparked a mixed reaction, with some defending Destiny Etiko’s purchase and others agreeing with Verydarkman’s skepticism. The actress herself has responded with a subtle laughing emoji, leaving fans to wonder what’s really behind her luxurious Valentine’s Day gift.
