Nigerian street singer Portable has taken to social media to make a heartfelt appeal to God, seeking forgiveness for his past mistakes. The singer, who is currently facing legal troubles with the Ogun State government, pleaded with God to forgive him for the sake of his wife and mother.
Portable, who has been open about his struggles with the government, expressed his regret for his past actions and promised to never repeat them. He wrote, “God forgive me because of my mama and my wife. I learn from my mistake there’s a lot of things I’ll never do or allow again God do me as I want. Show me your grace.”
In a follow-up post, Portable continued to plead with God to make his family happy again. He wrote, “Big God go do am again. God make my family happy again. Amuludun. Oluwa loni glory Oluwa. Iyanu wa wo Ola iyanu Iyanumasele.”
Portable’s emotional appeal comes after a series of challenges he has faced in recent days. The singer had cried out as the government sealed his uncompleted building and hotel over illegal development without an approval permit and detained some of his customers and workers.
