Nigerian singer Portable has sparked controversy after sharing a private chat with YBNL boss, Olamide. The Zazu crooner posted a screenshot of their 2023 conversation, where he expressed his dissatisfaction with Olamide for allegedly abandoning him after bringing him into the music industry.
Portable’s message read: “Bado na baba. Make him dey support me dey go, na him bring me. God bless Olamide Bado. Make my helper no stop to dey help me.” (Translation: “Olamide is my father. He should continue to support me, he’s the one who brought me into the industry. God bless Olamide. Let my helper not stop supporting me.”)
The chat revealed that Portable had reached out to Olamide, complaining about being left behind. Olamide responded, saying they were both in God’s hands.
Portable’s decision to share the private chat has sparked mixed reactions from fans. Some have accused him of being entitled, while others have expressed sympathy for his situation.
