A woman named Lizzy Adebayo has criticized Nollywood actors and producers on YouTube for their repetitive casting choices and the production of low-quality movies.

In a video shared on her TikTok account, Lizzy expressed frustration with movie producers for consistently using the same actors in their projects and working with limited resources.

She said, “Please, all these YouTube actors and producers, this 2025, I beg you to make some changes. You are wasting our data and Wi-Fi on subpar content. We pay money to subscribe. Every movie features the same faces—Ruth Kadiri, Deza The Great, Sam Maurice, and Sonia Uche. Are you trying to overuse their appearances in films?”

Lizzy further remarked that modern Nollywood lacks the depth and moral lessons that characterized earlier productions. She urged producers to focus on quality rather than quantity.
