Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has seemingly criticized Judy Austin for her grand welcome of Yul Edochie in a viral video.
In the video, Judy was seen enthusiastically welcoming Yul home for Christmas, showering him with praises and hugs. However, Rita Edochie appeared to disapprove of Judy’s public display of affection.
Rita stated that only an idle woman with no busy schedule would wait at home to shout and make videos praising her husband. She emphasized that a good wife’s quality is not determined by public displays of praise.
Rita added that women who constantly make videos singing praises to their husbands on social media are “idle liabilities.” She believes true love doesn’t require constant filming and making videos, and that a virtuous woman’s efforts will always shine through.
