Nollywood is mourning the loss of visionary director Dimeji Ajibola, who passed away on November 3rd after battling an undisclosed illness. Ajibola was a creative force behind award-winning films like Hoodrush (2012), which earned accolades at international film festivals.
His innovative approach blended traditional and digital art forms, leaving a lasting impact on the Nigerian film industry. Colleagues Mary Njoku and Bolanle Ninalowo paid heartfelt tributes, with Ninalowo expressing: “I love you, brother… May God heal your family and loved ones. Till we meet again… Rest on Champ.” Ajibola’s legacy will be deeply missed in the entertainment industry.
