Nigerian singer Asake has taken to social media to address the apparent rift between him and his YBNL label mate, Fireboy. The tension arose after Fireboy released his fourth studio album, “Adedamola”, on August 29th, 2024.
The album features 14 tracks and collaborations with notable artists like Lagbaja, Lojay, and Seun Kuti. As of now, six songs from the album occupy the top 10 spots on the Nigerian Apple Music chart. Interestingly, before the album’s release, Asake had unfollowed Fireboy on Instagram. In a seeming response to this, Fireboy has now unfollowed Asake, sparking speculation about a potential feud between the two YBNL artists.
However, in a new video, Asake was seen by the poolside vibing to his YBNL mate singer Fireboy’s new song named “Hell and Back” off the “Adedamola” album.
